SHORT STORY COMPETITION BASED ON “GENERAL” and “LGBT+” THEMES

Eight short stories will be chosen as winners. These stories will be published in paperback and eBook formats and offered for sale on Amazon’s global websites.
The short stories to be based on “General” and “LGBT+” themes .
Winning authors will receive royalties on net sales.

Previous winning stories from our competitions are published in our paperbacks entitled HEADING SOUTHWARDS, LOCKDOWN NUMBER ONE, LOCKDOWN NUMBER TWO, AN ECLECTIC MIX (VOLUMES 1-12), ON ANOTHER PLANE, CYBER PATHWAYS, ZONAL HORIZONS and SPATIAL ZONES – all available on Amazon websites.
Terms and Conditions
The closing date for this competition is midnight (Pacific Time), 30 June 2023. Submissions received after that date will not be eligible for consideration.
The names of the EIGHT winners will be published on this website on 24 July 2023.
Neither AudioArcadia.com nor the judges will enter into any correspondence with entrants regarding the final decision of the judges or give advice as to the content of the work submitted.
Please note that the story or stories you are going to send us have not already been submitted to other competitions; additionally, we cannot accept any story or stories that have previously been published, or are going to be published, elsewhere. This ensures that your entry/entries are completely original.
Each entry to be accompanied by a separate payment (see PayPal details below). If you do not have a PayPal account, it is easy and secure to set one up.
Entry fee for one submission is charged at GBP 6.50, Euros 7.50 or USD 8.45.
There will be no refunds.
Acknowledgement of submissions received will be sent by email only.

Entrants must be aged 18 plus.

The short stories to be typed in grammatical English. We cannot accept any other language. Spacing is not important.

You may submit as many short stories as you wish providing each entry is no longer than FIVE THOUSAND words.

All contact details will be retained confidentially by AudioArcadia.com and will not be passed to any third parties without the prior permission of the entrant.

Your short story must not be in breach of any past, present or future contract with a third party and you, as the entrant, must be the copyright holder of the work.

Please remember that plagiarism is illegal.

Short stories will not be returned. Entrants must keep a copy of their submissions.

Submissions must not be offensive, explicit, or of an erotic nature.

We do not accept children’s stories.

Each entry to be emailed to rickprod@aol.com and attached to the email as a “WORD” document. Mark this email “For the attention of the Editor”. Please include your full contact details.
